Therapies Used

Online therapy sessions are held in real time over the computer using a secure encrypted video connection to protect your confidentiality. They follow the same ethical regulations as in-person therapy and are often covered by extended health benefits. Many patients prefer this method due to its accessibility, convenience, comfort, and privacy.

Research suggests that online therapy is just as effective as traditional face-to-face therapy. Some evidence even suggests that online therapy may be more effective than in-person therapy when using cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to treat certain concerns. Patients receiving mental health treatment through video conferencing report high levels of satisfaction.

It's advised that you have a strong internet connection that you can access from a computer or tablet. Phone sessions are also available upon request.
