I help people regain control over their lives by inviting them to pause, explore, and build skills that lead to better functioning and healing. This starts with setting goals in your first session, based on what you'd like to focus on in therapy. Each session starts in conversation to build a therapeutic alliance, check in on how you're doing that day, and understand the challenges you're facing. Often we'll do exercises to help you tune into yourself more deeply and process your thoughts and feelings. Finally, we focus on building skills to help you reach your goals. Homework assignments are often used between sessions to help you integrate your work during sessions into your life.

I believe every person...

  • Has worth

  • Needs to be met where they’re at

  • Heals in their own time

  • Is the expert of their own life

  • Can have a greater sense of control and satisfaction through understanding why they think or behave the way they do

  • Deserves to be happy and function in their daily lives

I became a registered social worker in 2007 and earned my Masters in Public Health in 2018.

When I’m not offering therapy, I spend my time in nature, painting with watercolours, cuddling my cat and dog, and being the best partner I can be.
